Omnichat is operated by Wevem · Effective August 30, 2026

Omnichat is a shared team inbox that brings messages from several channels (LINE Official Account and Gmail) into one place, so a team can answer customers from a single screen. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can withdraw consent or have your data deleted.

1. Information we collect

Account information

  • The email address and name you register with, and your password stored only as a one-way hash — we never store a recoverable copy of it.

  • Your workspace and the role of each team member in it.

Data from the channels you choose to connect

  • Message content and attachments in your conversations, both received and sent by your team.

  • Contact details as provided by the channel, such as display name, profile picture, email address, and the channel-specific user id.

  • Channel access and refresh tokens, which are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to the database.

We do not collect payment card details, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are those required to keep you signed in.

2. Google user data we access

When you choose to connect a Gmail account, we request the following scopes and use each one solely for the stated purpose:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify — to read incoming email so it can be shown as a conversation in your inbox, to send the replies you compose, and to update the read state and labels of those related messages.

  • openid and email — to identify which mailbox is being connected, so the same account cannot be connected to more than one workspace by mistake.

We never delete your email, never alter the content of existing messages, and never access anything in your Google Account beyond the scopes listed above.

3. Limited Use of Google user data

Omnichat's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Gmail data only to provide the shared inbox features you have asked for.

  • We do not transfer, sell, or disclose that data to third parties for advertising, marketing, analytics, or resale purposes.

  • We do not use that data to train or improve generalized AI or machine learning models.

  • No human at our company reads that data, except with your explicit consent to resolve a support issue you raised, where necessary for security purposes, or where required by law.

4. Sharing with service providers

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as far as is necessary to run the service:

  • Google LLC — to send and receive email through the Gmail API and to receive new-message notifications through Google Cloud Pub/Sub.

  • LINE Corporation — to send and receive messages through the LINE Messaging API.

  • Our infrastructure and attachment storage providers, which process data only on our instructions.

We may also disclose data when required to do so by a lawful order from a competent authority.

5. Security

  • All traffic between the browser and our systems is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.

  • Channel tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, with support for key rotation.

  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and cannot be reversed.

  • Access to data is scoped to a workspace and to the role of the signed-in member.

6. Data retention and deletion

  • Messages and contacts are kept for as long as the workspace remains active, so your team can refer back to conversation history.

  • When you disconnect a Gmail channel, the associated tokens are deleted and we stop accessing that mailbox immediately.

  • You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us using the details in section 8. We will act on the request within 30 days of receiving it.

You can revoke the access you granted to Omnichat at any time from your Google Account permissions page or from the channel settings page inside the app.

7. Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA), you have the right to access your personal data, obtain a copy of it, have it corrected, request its deletion or the suspension of its use, request its portability, and object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 8.

8. Contact us

9. Changes to this policy

If we revise this policy we will update the effective date shown above, and where the change is material we will notify you before it takes effect.
